Recurring backups, slow drains, sewage odors or unexplained wet areas can indicate a problem within a buried sewer line. But knowing there is a problem doesn't tell you what caused it—or where repairs need to be made.

Mainline Leak Detection uses professional sewer camera inspection and electronic line-locating technology to investigate buried sewer piping and identify cracks, separated joints, root intrusion, blockages, collapsed sections and other defects that may be contributing to backups, leakage or system failure.

Camera Inspection

A high-resolution camera travels through the sewer line, allowing us to visually inspect the interior of the pipe and identify damage, blockages, root intrusion, separated joints and other potential problems.

Electronic Line & Defect Locating

The camera system includes a radio transmitter that can be detected from above ground. Specialized locating equipment allows us to trace the path and approximate depth of the sewer line and identify the location of defects discovered during the inspection.

Together, these technologies show what the problem is and where it is located—helping your repair contractor target the affected area instead of excavating unnecessarily.
