Before any excavation begins, it is critical to understand what is buried beneath the surface. Mainline Leak Detection provides professional utility line locating services to help identify and trace private underground utilities and other subsurface features.

Using specialized locating equipment, we accurately locate and mark private water lines, sewer lines, electrical conduits, communication lines, irrigation piping, geothermal loops, and other underground anomalies such as buried tanks or metallic objects. Proper locating helps prevent costly damage, service interruptions, and safety hazards during digging or construction activities.

It is important to note that public utilities must be marked separately. Property owners,

contractors, and excavators are required to contact Miss Utility (811) to have public utility lines marked prior to digging. Mainline Leak Detection complements this process by locating private utility lines, which are not identified by 811. By ensuring both public and private utilities are properly identified, excavation can proceed safely, efficiently, and with confidence.
